English 101, aka MY BITCH
I'm. So. BORED.
I'm in class right now, and we've already taken our quiz (I got 20/20 bitches!), handed in our journals (mine is a vignette from The Office), workshopped our Compare and Contrast essays (Older vs. Younger children), and are now supposed to be working on correcting our essays (done), working on new journals (finished 3 and almost done with 4), or taking practice grammar quizzes (done 15!).
SO. BORED.
I'm not even supposed to be on this website, but the prof is sitting in front of me so she can't see my screen, and I have my journal up on the other tab so I can quickly click over if she starts getting all nosy face.
She's a pretty cool prof though... she just about did a cartwheel when she found out that I was Dad's daughter. Apparently all of Bay just adores him and is pulling for his recovery. I know that every department has been taking turns sending him get well cards, which is unbelievably awesome.
Speaking of Dad, he's not doing so well with the radiation. He's got an infection in his throat and mouth, so he can barely eat anything. And everything tastes funny to him, so he's just miserable. He's been inserting Ensure into his feeding tube all the time now, and trying to eat whatever he can, but he's just so damn unhappy.
Mom is doing awesomesauce though... I had to work hostessing last night, and she came in to eat dinner by herself at 7:30 so Steve let me clock out and eat with her. We've been spending more time together, which I love because I missed her so much.
Even Jake and Abby haven't been annoying me nearly as much as they are want to do. Jake has developed an obsession with Scrubs, and he practically tackled me in mid-hug when I said he could watch the seasons I have. I plan on buying season five tonight after work, and I'm sure his little head will explode.
It's weird... I love being home. I love being around my family, and seeing my hometown friends (what up Chad, Lily, David and Bitsy?). I miss my Albion friends like Kelly, Ally, Patricia, the Megans, etc... but I don't really miss Albion. Albion is just a gigantic pain in my ass most of the time. If it weren't for my friends, I would just kick Albion in its gigantic ass and say "SO LONG SUCKER!"
*Le sigh*
Ooh! I just got back today's journal... 25/25! Woot woot! I'm kicking your ASS English 101! FEAR ME AND MY L33T ENGLISH SKILLZ!!
...
I need a nap.
